This is a melodic, grade 2+ piece. The rhythms are often syncopated, but the tempo is moderate. The ranges are also fairly limited, so once the rhythms are mastered, the piece flows nicely.

Western Road was premiered by the Edmond North String Orchestra in the Spring of 2019.
